So, you may remember a few weeks ago I posted a sneak peek of a before/after I had been working on… Well, good news, it’s finished!

I loved working on this piece, it is such a beautiful quality piece of furniture. I painted it in the sunshine with several coats of paint, lined the drawers with a beautiful Laura Ashley-print wallpaper and finished with a hard-wearing varnish. I hope it finds a lovely new home soon, if you think you could offer one - or just want to see more pictures of it! - it’s for sale here…

This cute little chest of drawers had seen better days, but with a coat of cream paint, new flower knob handles and sanded & waxed drawer fronts, it was given a new lease of life, and a new home!

Currently in my workshop is this beautiful solid wood chest of drawers, which, as you can see, was looking a bit sorry for itself, with loose and missing handles! I decided to transform it with several coats of paint and a distressed finish. Here’s a sneak peek at progress so far… 

I’ll post a final finished photo and dimensions in the next couple of days. In the meantime though, it’s for sale to anyone who wants a beautifully well-made, solid and very heavy reloved chest of drawers in their home!
